Sharky Bar Phnom Penh

Sharky bar, but often called Sharkies was established in 1995.

Since then it has grown and become a landmark bar that if you are visiting Phnom Penh you should put on your list of places to see.

The selection of Tex/Mex food is one of the best in Phnom Penh. The monthly barbeque on the first Sunday of every month is a staple of many ex-pats.

Sharky bar has 4 pool tables 2 of which are 9 ball tables and a large screen for sports.

One of Sharky's best known assets is the large number of freelance hostesses that cruise the bar looking for customers. However they are not too aggresive and Sharkies attract a large number of western women as well as sexpats.

Recently Sharkies airconditioned the bar which is a welcome change from the past.

Open from 4pm til late, Sharkies happy hour $1 Angkor draft beer runs from 4pm-8pm.

The best time to visit Sharky's is around 9pm as things start to heat up then.
